Jewelry That Lets You Go Green, Wear Red and Think Pink for the Cause
For those who think silicon bracelets are so yesterday and are looking for a new way to wear their cause, the Caring Coins ™ Collection by Lorraine Baratta offers the latest style in cause awareness jewelry.
The collection features coin-shaped charms in gold or silver, representative of eight (8) causes/issues. The lead-free coins are offered on small ball chains, leather cords, or gold or silver ball and Swarovski ® crystal bead chain bracelets -- traditional bracelets, ankle bracelets, and BootLet ® shoe and boot bracelets -- as well as on earrings and pendants for those desiring an ensemble. The bracelets are seasonless and can go from accenting a bare-legged summer outfit to adding some bling to your dressy or UGG® boots during cold weather months. They also can be worn individually or clustered for a chunkier look.
“I created the Caring Coins to be a constant reminder about issues that are close to the wearer’s heart and a stylish expression of what they think is important,” said designer Baratta. The causes/issues in the current collection include Breast Cancer, Missing Children and, just in time for Earth Day, “Think Green” with the Eco-Friendly and Save the Environment Coins, in addition the collection reflects "New Life", "A Healthy Heart" and her latest coin "Peace and Hope" and AIDS.
Baratta is donating a portion of sales from the Collection to the charities associated with the coin designs.
